Accepting a Plea Agreement for DUI

Even if you are offered a plea bargain, it may not be the easy way out that you hope for. Often, it is not be the best or least expensive option. In fact, it may mean the prosecutor has a weak case that can be defeated. There are special circumstances behind every DWI charge. We have been involved in hundreds of DWI cases and trials. We Protect Your License at the Administrative Driver's License Hearing

For many people charged with DWI, the Administrative License Review (ALR) is the most important process. After being charged with drunk driving in Texas, you have only 15 days to schedule an ALR hearing to fight for your driving privileges. If you fail to schedule a hearing, you will forfeit your right to contest your license suspension. Failing to contest your drivers license suspension means you right to drive will be forfeited for 90 to 180 days, and if you are caught driving, you are subject to further criminal penalties.

The ALR is also your lawyer's first opportunity to test and challenge the state’s evidence that will affect your criminal case. It is critical to hire a defense attorney who has experience handling ALR and criminal matters simultaneously.

In the event your license is suspended, we can help you seek a provisional driver's license for work and family necessities.
